Depart early from Quito toward the enchanting town of Mindo, stopping first at the iconic
Mitad del Mundo — the Middle of the World — where you can stand with one foot in each hemisphere.
Continue with a short stop at Frajares, a charming café known for its Ecuadorian coffee and local sweets.
Arrive in Mindo for lunch at a cozy local restaurant, followed by an immersive walk through the
Hermit Trails — a hidden paradise for bird enthusiasts with more than 40 species of hummingbirds, tanagers, and toucans.
As the day winds down, enjoy a delicious dinner and, if you wish, take part in a Night Walk to spot the glass frog and other nocturnal wonders.
