No other place on our planet can you find a group of such uniquely created volcanic islands at an intersection of several currents, creating an environment exclusive to this incredible archipelago. Thanks to these factors, an astounding mixture of diverse marine life gather here. This diving itinerary will allow you to mingle with whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, sea lions, Galapagos penguins, manta rays and huge schools of fish. You’ll also have some time on the islands to view and enjoy land dwelling wildlife in the highlands such as Giant Tortoises and an assortment of birdlife, all while returning each evening to your hotel to get ready for the next day’s adventure!

ITINERARY
Afterwards, arrive in Puerto Ayora at the Charles Darwin Research Station. It is one of the best park interpretation centers highlighting what it means to humanity and how vital it is to protect all Galapagos species and their conservation.

Diving into the waters of the Galapagos allows a rare opportunity to encounter an entirely new world. Below the surface is a motley of multi-colored tropical fish species, creating a natural kaleidoscope just waiting to be discovered. Since the Galapagos were created mostly from underwater volcanic activity, you’ll come upon strange and remarkable structures that sea creatures have now taken over and claimed as their marine home. Diving also allows you to witness some of the most magnificent and larger aquatic wildlife, such as Galapagos sharks, hammerhead sharks, manta and eagle rays and the phenomenal whale shark, the world’s largest fish in the ocean. While diving in the Galapagos, the following sites are available, however each one is subject to availability and has varied levels of difficulty and currents that pass through each site. Lunch will be provided for you onboard.
